Virus Protection
To protect your computer and your personal financial information it is very important that you have virus protection installed on your computer. There are many free and paid versions out there! Once installed, make sure that whatever program you choose is set up to scan automatically and have it scanning often. In addition to virus protection, a malware scanner is great to help protect you.
Remember to never let an unknown person have access to your computer. Scammers have been known to call individuals claiming that their computer is infected with a virus. They then gain access to your computer and install software to steal your financial information. If you feel that this has happened to you, turn off your computer and contact a reputable, local computer repair business for assistance.
